Our Story

Do you remember when you were a teen and you’d sit on the floor at the bookstore in front of the magazine rack? You’d sip your hot cocoa and soak up the glossy magazine pages filled with images and articles that inspired you and propelled you to see life in new ways. My love for magazines has remained true and, as a businessman, I’ve always stocked my waiting rooms and employee break rooms with a selection of magazines for all to enjoy. When I learned that some major book retailers and businesses were eliminating their print magazine racks, my wife, Lauren, and I began wondering, why couldn’t waiting room guests just scan a code and read a digital magazine from their smart devices? That seed of curiosity has bloomed into CXperks. Musical jukeboxes swept the nation in the 20th century and appeared in all ultra-hip venues. CXperks is following in those footsteps in the 21st century by answering the demand for digital entertainment wherever people gather. Join us on this incredible journey by reading a virtual magazine and getting inspired again!

Lauren Janney

Lauren, with a Master’s in Business Counseling from Liberty University, leverages vast entrepreneurial experience to foster team success. Active in community service, including roles with Special Olympics and Hero Kid Foundation. Proud wife and mom.

Bronston, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate, boasts two decades of executive leadership across diverse industries. Skilled in startups, M&A, and market entries, he's dedicated to fostering exceptional customer experiences through stellar teams.

Justin Etheredge

Justin, with two decades in software design and engineering across finance, retail, e-commerce, and healthcare, co-founded Simple Thread in 2010, an award-winning digital agency in Richmond, VA. Active in mentoring and technology outreach, he resides in Richmond with his family.

David, esteemed insurance executive, began his career as a teacher while pursuing a Masters. With 35 years in insurance, including roles in claims, underwriting, & sales at Allstate, he now brings expertise to Magazine Jukebox.
